Aqualarm pool alarm limitations

- The alarm must be audible from the house.
- Types of pools for which the Aqualarm alarm system is not suitable: above ground portable or flexible wall pools, pools without perimeter borders, mirror pools, certain overflow pools, pools equipped with filtration whose flow resembles counter-current swimming. Pools with an access to the water other than a ladder or staircase type access, especially pools with beach access (submerged or gently sloping) may not be equipped with an immersion only type detection system.
- Some counter-current swim systems, as well as certain high-flow filtration systems, do not allow reactivation of the immersion detection system.
