Original spare parts for Wybot Osprey 200 (WY1102)

Original spare parts for the cordless cleaner Wybot Osprey 200 (reference WY1102): filter/filter basket, main wheel, loader, extraction hook and other components. Important information: the Wybot Osprey 200 is the same robot which is marketed in España as Wybot Spyder. Spare parts are fully compatible between the two denominations.

Related categories: wybot Spyder spare parts, , wybot pool cleaner spare parts, , robot pool cleaner spare parts, , wybot pool cleaners, , technical service.

Wybot Osprey 200 and Wybot Spyder: same robot, two names

One of the most confusing issues for buyers: the Wybot Osprey 200 (reference WY1102) and the Wybot Spyder are exactly the same physical robot. The double denomination is commercial:

  • "Wybot Osprey 200": denomination international model, used in Anglo-Saxon markets and as a technical reference.
  • "Wybot Spyder": denomination commercial in EspaAnd European market, more recognizable to the end customer.
  • "WY1102"Internal Wybot manufacturer's reference that univocally identifies this model.

If you have a Wybot Spyder purchased at EspaYou can search for spare parts under "Osprey 200" or "WY1102", are the same parts. Conversely, if your robot came in identified as Osprey 200 and you are looking for parts under "Spyder", are also compatible.

Technical characteristics of the Osprey 200 / Spyder

To confirm that your robot is this model (and not a different variant of the Wybot family):

  • Type: pool cleaners wireless, with internal lithium battery.
  • Cleaning: single bottom (does not climb walls or waterline).
  • Cleaning cycle: 50 minutes per cycle.
  • CapacityPools up to 50 m³ of water.
  • Filtration: 180 microns (retains leaves, small stones and visible debris; does not retain fine dust or microalgae).
  • Weight: 3.6 kg (one of the lightest on the market).
  • Battery charging: a little less than 1 hour.
  • Original warranty: 3 years.
  • DesignOne single power button, maximum simplicity.
  • Extraction: required hook (sold as spare part or accessory).

How to confirm the model: in the robot bottom label you will see "WY1102", "Osprey 200" or "Wybot Spyder" depending on the version. Any of the three designations identifies this model.

Most requested parts and compatibilities

All parts are wybot originals. The Osprey 200 (WY1102) parts are shared with the Wybot Spyder because, let's remember, they are the same robot.

Maintenance parts (high rotation)

Part Cross compatibilities
Filter (filter basket) Wybot Osprey 200 (WY1102), Wybot Spyder
Main wheel Wybot Osprey 200 (WY1102), Wybot Spyder
Charger Wybot Osprey 200 (WY1102), Wybot Spyder
Hook (robot extraction) Wybot Osprey 200 (WY1102), Wybot Spyder

These are the parts that cover virtually all of the home maintenance needs of the Osprey 200 main wheel is one of the few mechanical parts: the robot, being so light (3.6 kg) and cleaning only the bottom, does not need many drive parts.

What you will NOT find in this model

Unlike the more advanced Wybot models (Spyder Expert, Spyder Max, Spyder Genius, C1 Max/Pro, E-Tron i20/i30, Osprey 700 Max, S1, S2), the Osprey 200 / Spyder base does not incorporate:

  • Climbing walls: limits the required parts (no wall sensors, no reinforced traction systems).
  • Rotary brushesCleaning is by pure suction, without active brushing.
  • CaterpillarsHas a single main wheel, not a track system.
  • Remote controlSingle-button control.
  • Wi-Fi / app connectivityBasic range model.

This mechanical simplicity is what keeps the robot so economical (reference price ~125 €) and, paradoxically, highly reliable: few parts that can break.

When to replace each part - actual symptoms

Symptom Candidate piece Check
Filter saturated, does not clean with rinsing Filter/filter basket Replacement (typical life 1-2 seasons)
Broken or deformed filter Filter/filter basket Direct replacement
Robot skids or moves with difficulty Main wheel with wear Replace wheel
Charger does not charge the battery Charger or charging connector Try another charger before changing the battery
Very slow loading Charger with problem Replace charger
Robot cannot be extracted (broken hook) Extraction hook Direct replacement
Autonomy drops halfway through the first year Degraded lithium battery Technical service (internal battery is not DIY)
Robot does not turn on Deeply discharged battery or battery at end of life Charge for 2 hours; if it does not turn on, call for service

Maintenance that extends the life of your Osprey 200

As with any cordless robot with a lithium battery, three simple actions multiply the service life:

Cleaning of the filter after each cycle. Remove the robot from the water, open the filter, empty and rinse with a hose (not under pressure, not with chemicals). Allow to air dry before storing. A saturated filter forces the motor to vacuum against resistance and accelerates battery wear.

Do not leave the robot charging all summer without use. Between cycles, the robot should rest at room temperature, not constantly plugged in. Lithium batteries degrade faster if they are permanently at 100% charge with heat.

Winter storage with battery at 40-60 %. It is the most important factor for battery life. A battery at 0 % for months degrades irreversibly, a battery at 100 % also loses capacity. Intermediate partial charge is optimal. Store in a cool, dry place, never in a garage or storeroom at high temperature.

Verification of the filter chosen for your water. The 180 micron filter of the Osprey 200 is designed for visible dirt: leaves, small stones, coarse debris. Does not retain fine dust, pollen or microalgae. If your swimming pool has a lot of pollen or fine dust (typical in May-June in many areas of EspaThe robot will pick up the coarse but the water may still have fine turbidity (this is the job of the main scrubber, not the Osprey 200).

Basic diagnostics before purchasing the spare part

Symptom Most probable cause Candidate piece
Does not turn on Deeply discharged battery or broken charger Try another charger before changing anything
Very low autonomy (covers Battery degraded or filter saturated Clean filter first; if persistent, battery (service)
No or low suction Saturated filter Clean/change filter
Skates on the bottom Worn main wheel Replace wheel
Robot does not move even though it turns on Clogged propeller (hair, large blade) Open top cover and clean propeller
Leaks water from the casing Main seal Technical service (do not open on your own)
Charger does not respond End-of-life charger Replace charger

If, after replacing the suspect part, the problem persists, the official technical service can value the equipment. Do not open the engine or manipulate the battery on your ownVoids the warranty (3 years factory warranty) and poses a risk (damaged lithium batteries may catch fire).
