Vacuum compacted salt for decalcifier 25 kg bag (pearls)

Salt for water softening.

They are obtained by compressing fine salt of very high purity between two honeycombed cylinders; a high compression ratio gives them a high resistance to shocks and crushing.

The crystals are white, odourless, water-soluble and have a frank saline taste.

The shape of these tablets ensures good dissolution and prevents the formation of bridges in the salt containers of water softeners.

Physical characteristics of salt in pearls:

• Appearance: cushion.
• Density: +/- 2.1.
• Solubility at 20ºC: 358 g/Kg of water.
• Unit weight: 9 g.
• Dimensions: 24 x 23 x 13 mm.

Chemical characteristics:

• Loss on drying 110ºC (humidity): 0.2%.
• ON DRY:
• Sodium chloride: 99.4%.
• Other salts: 0.5%.
• Insoluble: 0.02%.
