Replacement parts for the C Gre CPH14 dosing pump: tube, roller holder, and probes
The CPH14 Gre is a pH dosing pump built on Astralpool ’s Control Basic platform—which is why its replacement parts bear that name. If you’re looking for parts for your CPH14 and find everything listed under “Astralpool Control Basic,” you’re on the right track: those are exactly the parts for your pump.
Maintenance focuses on four parts: the peristaltic tube, the roller holder, and the pH and redox probes (if your unit measures both parameters). Here they are, along with their prices.

Head: tube and roller holder
| Replacement part | Estimated price | What it does and when to replace it |
|---|---|---|
| Peristaltic tube | €20.90 | The No. 1 consumable. This is the tube that the rollers squeeze to pump the pH corrector. The acid hardens it from the inside, causing it to lose flow. Replace every 1–2 seasons or if dosing is lost. |
| Roller holder | €29.90 | The rotor that holds the rollers that compress the tube. Replace if they turn with difficulty, make noise, or show signs of wear— a worn roller holder will wear through a new tube in a matter of weeks. |
How to decide between the two: open the head and turn the roller holder by hand. If it turns smoothly and the rollers are round, you only need the tube. If you notice stiffness or friction, replace the roller holder as well—this way, you’ll avoid paying for the tube twice.
Measurement: pH and ORP probes
| Replacement | Approximate price | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| pH electrode kit | €79.90 | The probe that measures the pH of the water. Typical lifespan: 2–3 seasons. This is the component that determines whether your pool is properly treated. |
| Redox Electrode Kit | €84.49 | Only if your CPH14 also measures redox (disinfection potential). It measures the water’s actual disinfecting power, beyond the raw chlorine level. |
If your unit only regulates pH, ignore the redox electrode—not all models on this platform include it.
Calibrating the CPH14: the ritual that keeps everything accurate
Calibration is teaching the pump what a known pH value is so it can correctly interpret its measurements. Without calibration, the reading drifts, and the device dispenses acid based on inaccurate data.
When: at the start of each season, every 2–3 months of use, whenever you replace the probe, and when the display doesn’t match your reference meter.
How, in essence:
- To calibrate, remove the probe from its housing
- Rinse the tip with clean water and gently dry it, without rubbing the bulb
- Immerse it in the standard solution and wait for the reading to stabilize
- Confirm the calibration by following the menu sequence on your device
- Rinse, reinstall the probe, and resume dosing
Two warnings: the calibration solution expires (the number one cause of failed calibrations), and the probe must not be allowed to dry out —store it with its cap and preservative solution if you disassemble it. You can find the calibration solution in the dosing accessories section.
Quick Diagnosis: From Symptom to Part
| Symptom | Most Likely Cause | What to Check |
|---|---|---|
| Dosing is lower than scheduled | Hardened peristaltic tube | Tube; also check the roller holder |
| Noise or stiff rotation in the print head | Worn roller holder | Roller holder (€29.90) |
| Pumps but does not draw in product | Clogged floor filter, air or hose kinked | Base filter, hoses, tubing |
| Product is leaking from the head | Punctured hose | Hose; check inside the head |
| The pH on the display does not match the analyzer | pH probe is out of calibration or worn out | Calibrate with a new solution; if it drifts, replace the probe |
| I can't calibrate it | Solution has expired | Use a new solution before suspecting the probe |
| The redox value isn’t stabilizing (if your device measures it) | Redox electrode is depleted | Redox electrode kit |
| The pH does not drop even though the pump is running | Empty bottle or clogged injection point | Check the carboy level; then check the tubing and injection point |
Maintenance that extends the life of the CPH14
- Flush the system with clean water at the end of the season. Leaving acid to sit for six months is what hardens the tubing and causes the injection point to crystallize. This is the most effective way to prevent breakdowns
- Check the foot filter every time you change the water tank
- Keep the probe moist if you disassemble the unit
- Replace the calibration solution every season
- Check the roller holder every time you change the tube
- Always weargloves and goggles when opening the head: there are traces of acid inside
