Replacement parts for the ESPA Filterkit Plus (FKP) filter: selector valve, manifold arms, and cover

The Filterkit Plus is the sand filter from ESPA, and the breakdown of this process can be summarized in three decisions: what selector valve Set up your system (1½" or 2"), which collector arms Bring your filter (FKP 500, 600, or 750) and which of the lid parts It's the one that's malfunctioning.

Here's the complete breakdown with prices, listed in exactly that order. As Official E-Partner of ESPA, all replacement parts are genuine manufacturer parts covered by their warranty.

Complete selector valve: 1½" or 2"

That's the most common issue with this filter. When the valve acts up—water leaks into the drain during filtration, the lever doesn't lock into position, or there's a leak around the shaft—it's often more cost-effective to replace it entirely rather than going through it piece by piece.

Valve Estimated price What type of installation?
1½-inch Side Selector Valve €109.00 The most common household unit of measurement
2-inch, 6-way lateral selector valve €134.90 High-flow systems

How to Find Out Which One Is Yours: measures the pipe diameter that connects to the valve — 50 mm corresponds to 1½” and 63 mm to 2”. Both are side mounting (on the side of the filter, not on top of it). If your valve is mounted on top of the filter, that's an installation top and does not fall within this range.

Manifold arms: The size should match that of your filter

The collector arms are the slotted “fingers” at the bottom that allow water to pass through and they trap the sand. If sand appears in the pool, this is where the leak is—and the solution depends on the diameter of your FKP:

Collector Arm Estimated price Which filter should I use?
FKP 500 Collector Arm €8.90 500 mm FKP Filter
FKP 600 Collector Arm €9.90 600 mm FKP Filter
FKP 750 Collector Arm €18.90 750 mm FKP Filter

The number is in the filter label It is determined by measuring the widest part of the garment. And here’s a tip to save you some trouble: at €8.90–18.90 per item, when you open the filter Check all the arms and replace the entire set if it's old—the undamaged pieces are the same age as the broken one.

Cover, gasket, flange, and pressure gauge

Replacement Part Estimated price What It Does and When to Replace It
Cover gasket 4.76 € The key component—and the cheapest one. If you notice any leakage around the lid, start here—never by tightening it further.
Clear lid €18.90 The top viewing window. Replace it if it is cloudy, cracked, or if the gasket seat is damaged. Its transparency allows you to see the bed without opening it.
Cover Flange 29.75 € The part that secures and tightens the lid against the body. Replace it if it is cracked or has lost its tightness.
Pressure Gauge €31.90 The only diagnostic tool for the filter. Replace it if the needle does not return to zero when the pump is stopped, if it is stuck, or if there is water in the sight glass.

Quick Diagnosis: From Symptom to Part

Symptom Most likely cause Item to be reviewed
Sand in the pool Cracked or loose collector arm Collector arms in your size (500/600/750)
Water is draining into the drain during filtration Inside the selector valve Complete selector valve in your diameter
Leak through the handle shaft Expired valve Complete selector valve
It oozes out the top Expired Board Meeting Cover gasket (€4.76)
Opaque or Cracked Lid Sun-induced and chemical aging Clear lid
The lid doesn't close tightly Cracked or expired flange Cover Flange
The pressure gauge isn't registering Broken watch Pressure Gauge
High blood pressure that doesn't go down when washing Compacted or caked cargo Sand or filter glass
The water doesn't become clearer even if it filters for hours Out of stock Refresh the page

Wash based on load size, not on schedule

Record the pressure on the pressure gauge with the freshly washed filter: That's your reference. When it goes up 0.3–0.5 bar on it, tap wash + rinse.

If, after washing, the pressure does not return to the reference, the bed is saturated: it's time to replace the media (every 4–6 seasons (with the water properly balanced). And if the needle doesn't move or doesn't return to zero, the problem is with the pressure gauge—€31.90 to restore the filter control panel.

Can't find the replacement part for your Filterkit Plus? Call us at 91 128 55 90 or write to us at the contact form with a photo of the filter, its label, and the part to be replaced. And keep these two key points about this filter in mind: the Collector arms are sorted by diameter (500/600/750) and the 4.76 € lid gasket fixes most leaks—without ever tightening the flange further.
