Here, the diameter of your system determines the size: 1½” (50 mm pipe) or 2” (63 mm).

Zone 4 — Indoor: manifold arms

The collector arms are the slotted “fingers” at the bottom that allow water to pass through while trapping sand. If sand appears in the pool, this is where the problem lies. In the Ice model, they are 1”:

Measure the arm you’re replacing from the thread to the tip. And at €2.55 per unit, when you open the filter and find a broken one, replace the entire set: the others are just as old, and opening the filter accounts for 90% of the work.

Quick Diagnosis: From Symptom to Part

Backwash based on pressure, not on a schedule

Note the pressure on the gauge after the filter has just been washed—that’s your baseline. When it rises 0.3–0.5 bar above that, it’s time to wash and rinse.

If the pressure doesn’t return to the reference point after flushing, the filter media is saturated: it’s time to replace the media (every 4–6 seasons with properly balanced water). And if the needle doesn’t move or doesn’t return to zero, the pressure gauge is faulty—€9.90 to replace the filter’s only diagnostic tool.
