Maintenance that extends the life of your Astralpool Easykleen

Cleaning of the filter bag after each cycle. Remove the robot, open the bag, empty the dirt and rinse with a hose. Allow to air dry before storing. The 50 micron textile bag of the Easykleen is the main retention system: if it becomes saturated, the motor works against resistance and accelerates the wear of the entire chain (motor, bearings, propeller).

Preventive overhaul of the bearing-pulley motor attack at the beginning of each season. The pulley bearing is one of the most rotating parts of the Easykleen: if it makes noise when moving the robot, it is at the end of its life. Replacing it before it fails completely avoids major motor failures.

Care of the power cable. The cable is the part most exposed to UV. Store the robot in the shade (not in the sun between uses), do not stretch the cable by forcing tight angles, and visually check each season for cracks or stiffness. If the cable is cracked, replace it (new cable comes with with O-ring included to ensure watertightness). A cracked cable can allow water to enter the motor and damage the electronics irreversibly.

Revision of the connection plug. The connector between the robot's cable and the power supply is a critical point: if there is rust or oxidation on the pins, the power delivered to the motor drops and cleaning is less effective. Clean with electrical contact cleaner every season.

Do not open the sealed motor on your own. The Easykleen motor is factory sealed to ensure watertightness under water. Opening voids the warranty (if any) and almost always damages the original seal. If the malfunction is in the internal motor, refer to the official technical service.

Shade and dry storage. UV rays degrade plastics and rubbers. Remove the robot from the vessel after the cycle and store in the shade. The power supply must also be protected from the weather.
