Replacement Parts for the QP Facileo Salt Chlorinator: Cell, pH Control, and Complete Parts List

The QP Facileo (Pool Technologie) is a compact salt chlorinator widely used in Spanish residential pools, available in versions that also include pH control —which is why its parts list consists of two distinct sections: the electrolysis section (cell, nut, flange) and the pH dosing section (peristaltic tube, roller holder, electrode).

On this page, you’ll find both options with prices, plus answers to the most frequently asked questions about this equipment: what to do when the salt alarm goes off and how to tell if the problem is with the salt or the cell. As an official QP E-Partner, all products are genuine manufacturer parts with a warranty.

Section 1 — Electrolysis: The Cell and Its Installation

Replacement Part Approximate price What it does and when to replace it
Opaque 4-plate monopolar cell €419.00 The heart of the system: where salt is converted into chlorine. Replace when the system is not producing 100% chlorine and the plates show signs of worn-out coating.
Cell nut €23.90 The nut that secures the cell. Replace if it is cracked or the thread is stripped.
Flange + Gasket Assembly €19.75 Secures and seals the assembly. If you notice any leaks, start here before suspecting larger components.
63/50 mm reduction bushing €1.95 Adapts the installation from 63 to 50 mm.

Before ordering a sensor: check the model and volume of your pool (Facileo is available for different pool sizes). Sensors are specific parts that cannot be returned once delivered; if you have any questions, please send a photo of the label via the contact form and we’ll confirm the part number. Free shipping included with your order.

Block 2 — pH Control: the peristaltic pump head

Facileo models with pH control include a peristaltic pump: a rotor with rollers that squeezes a flexible tube to inject the pH corrector.

Replacement Part Estimated price What it does and when to replace it
Santoprene peristaltic tube €34.90 The No. 1 consumable for the pH section. The rollers crush it thousands of times a day, and the acid hardens it. Replace every 1–2 seasons or if flow rate decreases.
Roller holder €49.25 The rotor that holds the rollers that compress the tube. Replace if the rollers turn with difficulty or show signs of wear—a worn roller holder will damage the new tube from day one.

Block 3 — pH Measurement: Electrode, Probe Holder, and Calibration

Replacement Estimated Price What it’s used for
pH Electrode (1.5 m) €74.90 The probe that measures the pH of the water. Typical lifespan: 2–3 seasons.
PSS3 Long Probe Holder €23.95 The housing where the electrode is installed in the pipe.
50-1/2” PVC Pipe Collar €2.59 The pipe collar for installing the probe holder in a 50 mm pipe.
pH 7 buffer solution €5.99 The calibration standard. Replace it every season: an old solution calibrates poorly.

When the salt alarm goes off: salt, cell, or both

This is the most common warning from this unit and the one that generates the most inquiries. The key: a salt alarm doesn’t always mean there’s a lack of salt. The unit measures indirectly through conductivity and the current passing through the cell, so it can be triggered by various causes.

Check the following in this order, from the least expensive to the most expensive:

  1. Measure the salt level accurately with test strips or a meter—don’t rely solely on the display. After refilling with water or heavy rain, the level can drop without warning. If it’s low, top it off and wait for the salt to dissolve and circulate (several hours of filtration) before making a judgment
  2. Check the cell plates: if there are white lime deposits, the system “sees” less current and interprets this as a lack of salt. Clean the cell and test it
  3. Check the temperature: with cold water (below ~15 °C), conductivity drops, and some systems will trigger an alert even if the salt level is correct
  4. Check the flow rate: without sufficient circulation, the unit won’t read properly
  5. If the alarm persists evenwith the correct salt level, warm water, and a clean cell —and the plates show worn-out plating—the cell is worn out

For the exact code displayed by your unit and its literal meaning, consult the manual for your specific model: the coding varies among models in the range. And if you’d prefer us to help you interpret it, call us at 91 128 55 90 with the on-screen message in front of you.

Cell cleaning: extends the life of the €419 part by several years

  • When: only when visible scale is present on the plates. Cleaning a clean cell “on a schedule” shortens its lifespan
  • How: Remove the cell with the pump turned off and submerge it in highly diluted hydrochloric acid (1 part acid to 10 parts water, always adding the acid to the water) or a specific cleaning solution. Let it sit only until the lime stops bubbling —minutes, not hours. Rinse thoroughly with plenty of water
  • Never: Scrape the plates with metal objects or use concentrated acid. The protective coating produced by chlorine will not regenerate
  • And above all: keep the pH between 7.2 and 7.4. Salt chlorination naturally raises the pH , and a high pH accelerates calcification. If you’re battling limescale every month, your problem is the pH—and that’s exactly what the Facileo’s pH regulation feature is for

Quick Diagnosis: From Symptom to Part

Symptom Most likely cause What to Check
Salt Alarm Low salt, scale buildup on plates, or cold water Measure actual salt level, clean the cell, check temperature (see above)
100% insufficient chlorine with all other parameters within range Cell worn out Monopolar cell
Leak in the cell assembly Worn gasket or flange Flange + gasket assembly (€19.75) first and foremost
The nut won’t tighten Stripped or cracked thread Cell nut
The pH doesn’t drop even though the system is dosing Hardened peristaltic tube or empty bottle Tube; bottle level; suction filter
Dosing is less than programmed Worn tubing Peristaltic tube
Noise or stiff rotation in the pH head Worn roller holder Roller holder
The pH reading on the display does not match the analyzer Electrode is out of calibration or worn out Calibrate with a new solution; if it drifts, replace the electrode
Leak at the probe connection point Probe holder or collar Probe holder; collar

Can’t find a replacement part for your Facileo chlorinator, or not sure how to interpret a display message? Call us at 91 128 55 90 or send us a message via the contact form with a photo of the unit’s label and what the screen shows. And here’s the most useful tip from this page: when the salt alarm goes off, actually measure the salt level and check the plates before buying anything—half the time it’s limescale, not the cell.
