Technical characteristics

Kit contents:

  • 1 unit of SaltExpert salt chlorinator model SaltExpert VX 95 - 33 g/h.
  • 1 unit of ePool automatic pH controller.

With SaltExpert salt chlorinators, a new milestone is reached in terms of controllability and ease of use, resulting in crystal clear, pure water and, consequently, healthy, happy swimmers

Main features of SaltExpert chlorinators:

Control. Manual dosing with liquid or granulated chlorine can be incorrect. An overdosage can cause irritation of eyes, skin... and a strong smell of chlorine. SaltExpert equipment constantly generates the required level of chlorine. All that needs to be done is to readjust the salt level in the water from time to time.

Ease of use. From the Touch zone, you can adjust the amount of chlorine generated.

Pool mode / Spa mode. The SaltExpert range has an intelligent controller that allows the level of chlorine generated to be automatically lowered to the right level for a spa, all at the touch of a button.

Self-cleaning. At intervals determined by the intelligent software included in the device, the SaltExpert equipment reverses the polarity of its electrodes. This self-cleaning process eliminates any residue on the plates, increasing the life of the cell and eliminating any type of maintenance.

Automatic pH controller epool.

Accessories included:

  • Measuring electrode.
  • Electrode holder.
  • Buffer solutions.

what is the Automatic pH Controller for?

This easy-to-use device allows automatic pH control and dosing of products, both pH reducers and pH increasers. Ideal for pools with salt chlorinators.

Peristaltic pumps work on the principle of peristalsis, which consists of a motor with a central shaft connected to a series of compressor rollers that rotate in a circular motion, as if they were a waterwheel, and compress a flexible tube that surrounds them and through which the liquid flows.

When the shaft is in motion, the compressed parts of the tube move the fluid forward.

Peristaltic pumps are ideal for pumping liquid chemicals because of their simplicity and low cost compared to other types of pumps, both in terms of manufacture and maintenance.

Advantages of salt electrolysis:

  • Improves water quality. The concentration of salt in the water is 4-6 g/l, similar to physiological saline solution
  • It avoids the handling of dangerous chemical products, such as chlorine or hypochlorite.
  • It simplifies the maintenance of your pool, as it is a fully automatic system.
  • Disinfection is more efficient due to the combined action of chlorine and other agents generated during electrolysis, such as active oxygen.
  • It is environmentally friendly. Salt electrolysis systems generate chlorine from the common salt dissolved in the water, in a closed cycle, turning it back into salt after it has fulfilled its disinfectant function.
  • It allows savings on the purchase of chemicals that are no longer needed.

Frequently asked questions:

- do I have to continuously dose salt?

Water treatment by electrolysis is a CLOSED CYCLE in which there is no salt consumption. The chlorine generated destroys the organic matter and pathogens in the water and is transformed back into salt. The salt is lost when the filter washes are carried out.

- how often is it necessary to measure the salt?

Although most equipment indicates whether or not salt is missing, it is advisable to measure the salt twice a year, once at the beginning of the season and once at the end of the season.

- how is salt measured?

It can be measured by analytical strips and by devices that measure conductivity. We recommend the analytical strips as the conductivity devices not only measure salt but all the solids dissolved in water, and can give an erroneous measurement

- Is the installation complicated? Which equipment should I choose?
