- Free chlorine 1: 0.1-1 mg/l
- Free chlorine 2: 0.5-5 mg/l
- pH: 6.8 - 8.2
Important remarks on the Chlorine and pH Pooltester (Astralpool)
- Contact of the reagent tablets with the fingers can alter the results.
- Once the tablets are dissolved, the test result should be read immediately.
- To avoid errors in the test due to accumulation of faults, clean the compartments with water.
- Close the vial tightly with the cap and swirl several times until the tablet is dissolved.
- Concentrations of more than 10 mg/l free Chlorine may discolour the colour indicator.
- PH values below 6.8 always produce a yellow discolouration.
- PH values higher than 8.2 always produce a red colouring.
- Water tests with negligible Alkalinity M values can produce false pH values.
