General information about the Espa iris 500M pool pump.

These are single-cell centrifugal pumps with built-in filtration elements, specially designed for pre-filtering and recirculation of water in swimming pools.

They are designed to work with clean water and a maximum temperature of 35°C. The materials used are of the highest quality, subjected to strict controls and checked with extreme rigour.

Installation of the Espa iris 500M pool pump.

The installation of our electric pumps is only permitted in swimming pools or ponds that comply with DIN VDE 0100 part 702-1.82. In doubtful cases, please contact us.

The pump should be placed as close as possible to the water level, in a horizontal position, in order to obtain the minimum suction stroke and to reduce head losses. It is recommended not to install the pump at a geometric height of more than 3 m above the water level.

The pump should be fixed to a solid base, with 6 or 8 mm diameter screws, through the holes provided in the foot itself. It shall be protected against flooding and shall be provided with dry ventilation.

Piping assembly.

The suction and discharge pipes shall have supports independent of those of the pump. In the case of pipes made of plastic materials, the tightness of joints and threads shall be ensured only with "TEFLON" tape. Glues or similar products must not be used.

The suction pipe must have a diameter equal to or greater than that of the suction port of the pump. The inside of the suction and delivery orifices are threaded to a certain depth. This must not be exceeded when screwing in the respective pipes. Also do not use fittings that are not new or clean.
The suction pipe shall be laid at a slight incline and the formation of siphons shall be avoided.
