Pump body and supports in thermosetting plastic, motor shaft and inserts entirely in stainless steel, impeller in polycarbonate with fibreglass charge and diffuser in polypropylene. Filter with transparent cover and basket. Motor IP55 protection with thermal motor protection.
what applications does the Espa Iris 1000M swimming pool pump have?
- Recirculation and filtration of water in small pools.
- The espa pool pumps are single-cell centrifugal pumps with built-in filtration elements, specially designed for pre-filtering and recirculation of water in swimming pools.
- They are designed to work with clean water and a maximum temperature of 35°C.
- The materials used are of the highest quality, subjected to strict controls and verified with extreme rigour.
Checks prior to the initial start-up of the pool pump.
Once the connections defined in the previous section have been made, unscrew the relevant filter cover and fill the pump pre-filter with water up to the lower level of the suction pipe.
- Check that the pump shaft rotates freely.
- Check that the mains voltage and frequency correspond to those stated on the nameplate of the pump.
- Replace the pre-filter cover and screw it back in place as required.
- Check that the direction of rotation of the motor corresponds to that indicated on the fan cover. On three-phase motors, if the direction of rotation is incorrect, reverse two phases of the power supply at the protection panel.
- If the motor does not start, try to find the fault by referring to the list of the most common faults and their possible remedies given on the following pages.
NEVER RUN THE PUMP DRY.
Starting the pool pump.
- Open all gate valves and energise the motor.
- Wait a reasonable time for the pipe to self-prime.
- Check the current draw and adjust the thermal relay accordingly.
Maintenance of the pool pump Espa.
Pool pumps do not require any specific maintenance. However, it is recommended to periodically clean the pump filter, empty the pump body during periods of low temperatures through the drain plug.
If inactivity persists, it is advisable to empty the pump of water, clean it and replace the filter cover with Vaseline on the rubber seal, making sure that the room where it will be stored remains dry and ventilated.
In the event of a fault, the user must not handle the pump. Contact an authorised technical service.
When it is time to dispose of the pump, it does not contain any toxic or polluting material.
The main components are duly identified so that they can be disposed of selectively.

No entiendo mucho sobre las características técnicas de este tipo de bombas. Para mí funciona suficientemente bien y el anterior nos ha durado 5 años. Espero que este, al menos, nos dure lo mismo.
