Installation Recommendations.

This replacement part is supplied as a PVA sponge. Depending on when it was manufactured, it may arrive dry or slightly damp.

Important before installation:

PVA is a material that, when dry, is very hard and rigid. To install it correctly on the pool cleaner wheel, it is essential to moisten it before installation:

  • Submerge the sponge in a bucket of water.
  • Let it soak for several hours, until it is completely saturated.
  • To speed up the process, squeeze the sponge repeatedly with your hand while it is submerged, helping it absorb as much water as possible.

Once thoroughly hydrated, the material changes in hardness and becomes flexible enough to be fitted onto the wheel without difficulty.

Note: Do not attempt to install the tire when it is dry or only partially damp, as its stiffness will make installation difficult and may damage the part.
