A peristaltic pump is a type of hydraulic pump used to pump a variety of fluids. The fluid is contained within a flexible tube inside a circular pump casing. A rotor with a number of rollers, shoes or wipers attached to the outer circumference compresses the tube. As the rotor turns, the part of the tube under compression closes forcing the pumped fluid to move through the tube. In addition as the tube is re-opened flow is induced into the pump, this process is known as peristalsis.

The New Vigilant pump series from CTX is an electromagnetic metering pump that operates with a microprocessor that manages the metering. Its IP65 housing guarantees protection against splash water and aggressive environments.

The New Vigilant pH pump is programmable via the keypad and 2-line x 8-digit backlit display.

The pump head has a manual priming valve, the flow rate is manual or automatic (by signal input) adjustable from 0 (pump stop) to 100% of the maximum flow rate and is equipped with a low level alarm to stop or not pumping and also includes the installation kit. The pump can be fixed to the wall using the fixing bracket supplied with the pump or to the top of the drums using the optional foot mounting bracket.
