The HANNA HI701 free chlorine checker is a digital colourimeter for chlorine testing. With the HI701 chlorine meter you can easily, accurately and cost-effectively measure free chlorine. Free chlorine is the active form of chlorine used to disinfect drinking water, swimming pools and spas.
The benefits of chlorine on water are many, and it is precisely these benefits that make the use of chlorine in drinking water tanks and swimming pool maintenance so important. First and foremost, it is a powerful germicide, reducing the level of pathogenic micro-organisms in the water to levels that are almost impossible to measure. Chlorination allows the control of taste and odours by reducing them, this is due to the fact that chlorine oxidises substances that occur naturally, we are referring to the secretions of smelly algae and odours of vegetation that is in the process of decomposition; chlorine gives water odourless attributes and favourably modifies its taste.
how is it used?
Designed as a more accurate alternative to chemical test kits, the HI701 provides fast and accurate results in a few simple steps:
STEP 1. Zero the checker with your water sample.
STEP 2. Add reagent to the cuvette.
STEP 3. Insert the cuvette into the Checker.
STEP 4. Press the button and read the results.

Hanna PH / Temperature Tester
This HANNA digital pH meter has revolutionised the pH measurement industry, offering all non-technical users an accurate, inexpensive and easy-to-use instrument. These pocket pH meters have been completely redesigned based on the user's experience and needs.
The housing of the phmeter is more robust and its design is ergonomic. In addition, the new design features a larger and more visible display for easy reading from any angle.
Over time and with use, the junctions become clogged or contaminated, and if there is no possibility of replacement, there is no other option but to dispose of the pH meter altogether. However, thanks to the removable fibre electrode junction, the HI 98107 pH meter Hanna has a longer service life than other pH meters. The junction is 2cm long and when it becomes contaminated or no longer measures effectively, it can be replaced with a new one to extend the life of the electrode, and thus the life of the tester. In addition, all pH meters and instruments in the pHep series have a cover to protect the electrode.

TDS Tester (Total Dissolved Solids)
This tester is a reliable pocket-sized instrument, which ensures fast and accurate readings of total dissolved solids.
With the new, more robust and ergonomic design and a larger display, this tester offers many innovative features. The graphite sensor, due to its particular structure, guarantees better repeatability, as it has no oxidation problems, thus minimising interference from the vessel where the measurement is performed.
The new shape of the instrument housing improves measurement performance: the special profile of the lower part prevents interferences due to trapped air bubbles, while the external temperature sensor, located in a metal container, ensures that automatic compensation is carried out quickly, allowing faster and more accurate measurements. To calibrate the instrument, simply immerse the tip in the respective solution (based on the measuring range) and adjust the relevant screw until the corresponding value is read on the display.

El contenido es correcto, pero las instrucciones de calibración y uso solo vienen en inglés y, aunque traducidas, son algo enrevesadas. Si no sabes de que va el asunto, te tienes que meter en internet, en donde aparecen muchos modelos de medidores de Hanna, que no siempre son iguales al que tienes delante. Creí que hacer una simple medición de como está tu piscina iba a ser menos árido
