The HI98100 Checker Plus is the next generation of the popular pH checkers from Hanna. The Checker is by far one of the most popular pH meters in the world, with over 1 million users using it since its introduction in 1991.
From students to researchers, it has helped everyone with their pH measurements because of its ease of use and operability.
The HI98100 Checker Plus pH tester features many advances, yet retains the look and feel of the original checker.
The Checker Plus offers automatic single or two-point calibration, automatic buffer recognition, buffer calibration labels, stability indicator, low battery indicator, and selectable automatic shut-off.
The Checker Plus retains the iconic original pentagon design, with a 103 mm long measuring probe that tapers to a diameter of 8 mm, making it ideal for measurements in test tubes and flasks.
Features Plus Tester pH
REPLACEABLE pH ELECTRODE
The supplied pH electrode, HI1271 measures 103 mm in length and tapers to a diameter of 8 mm at the tip to fit easily into test tubes, vials and other containers with a small opening.
STABILITY INDICATOR
An hourglass is displayed on the screen until a stable reading is obtained. Once the reading is stable, the indicator disappears and the information can be recorded.

The Checker Plus is a pH tester with all the features needed to make measurements, at a price affordable to anyone.
AUTOMATIC AUTO-SHUTOFF
The meter can be set to automatically shut off after 8 minutes or 60 minutes to conserve battery life if the device is left on. The auto-off function can also be disabled.
HIGH ACCURACY
The Checker Plus has a pH accuracy of ±0.2, and a resolution of 0.01.
LARGE DISPLAY
The enhanced display shows a stability indicator, battery status indicator and calibration labels.
AUTOMATIC CALIBRATION
The Checker Plus automatically calibrates at one or two points. Calibration buffers are automatically recognised and after calibration the buffer values used are shown on the display.
BATTERY LIFE
The Checker Plus has a long battery life of approximately 1000 hours. When the battery is running low, a battery indicator is displayed.
PLASTIC CASE
The HI98100 Checker Plus is supplied with meter, probe, calibration solutions and cleaning solutions in a rugged plastic carrying case.
