CTX 120 HypoCal Granulate in 25 kg

Calcium hypochlorite in granular fast-dissolving form with 65-70% useful chlorine, for disinfection and maintenance of crystal clear and hygienically pure water.

Ideal for:All types of swimming pools, spas, industrial water with low hardness.

It does not add cyanuric acid to the pool water, and has a high chlorine concentration (65%).

Dosage and instructions for use CTX 120 HypoCal granules

These doses are for guidance only and can be modified depending on the characteristics of each pool, climate, etc. Prolonged contact of this product on pool surfaces should be avoided in polyester, liner, vinyl or painted pools. This product discolours them.

It is essential that the entire volume of water in the pool is recirculated through the purifying equipment on a daily basis.

The residual chlorine should be between 0.5-2 ppm, a value that can be easily measured using a chlorine and pH analyser kit. This control shall be carried out a minimum of 2 times a day.

Initial treatment:

Add 2 tablets of product per m3 of water. After 2 hours, adjust the pH of the water to between 7.2-7.6 using Solid pH Reducer (0010) or Solid pH Increaser (0020).

The initial treatment (Superchlorination), should be repeated whenever a lack of transparency in the water is noticed.

Maintenance treatment:

With the pH of the water adjusted, place 1 to 2 tablets of the product per 10 m3 of water in the skimmer baskets daily.

• Keep the water flow completely open in the skimmers and sumps during the filtration process.
• Keep the skimmer baskets clean (leaves, paper, etc.) to ensure correct dissolution of the tablets.
• Avoid contact of the product on pool surfaces in pools made of polyester, liner or vinyl, as the product discolours these surfaces.
