how does salt electrolysis work?
Salt electrolysis systems add a new concept in water treatment to
the pool by increasing water quality, avoiding the use of chemicals and
making maintenance work easier.
Salt electrolysis process:
1. We add common salt to the water, approximately 5 grams per litre of water (a proportion
nine times lower than that of salt in the sea, in a proportion similar to that of a teardrop).
2. Once dissolved, we apply an electric current through the electrode, the salt is
converted into chlorine and, therefore, we already have the disinfectant product we need in the
water that destroys all the microorganisms that may be in the water.
3. Once the chlorine has fulfilled its function as a disinfectant agent,
is converted back into salt, so the concentration of salt remains constant and only small
replacements are needed due to the loss caused by filter washes, rain, etc

what do I need to install it in my pool?
There are 3 options:
1) CONNECT BOX. For Fluidra Connect compatible products, the Connect Box is the brain of the pool. Any installation to be managed via Fluidra Connect requires a Connect Box that must be connected to the internet via WiFi or cable.
2) GPIO. For products that are not compatible with Fluidra Connect, this device offers a solution with 4 outputs and 4 digital inputs. The GPIO allows us to make ON/OFF and time programming on non-compatible products. It also allows us to see the status of certain devices.
3) FLUIDRA CONNECT COMPATIBLE COMMUNICATION KIT. Some products allow the installation of this kit to become compatible with Fluidra Connect.
