Let's talk a little bit about the drains

Manufactured in white ABS, it has a special protection against UV rays. Its function is to suck the water from the deepest part of the pool in order to be able to recirculate it 100%. It also plays an important role in the case of total emptying of the pool. The most recent models have a grid that complies with current regulations, so the holes must always be less than 8 mm to prevent bathers' fingers from getting trapped.
In addition, the "anti-vortex" models have a type of side suction that prevents the formation of whirlpools.

Manufacturer's recommendations for installation:

- As a safety measure it is recommended to install 2 drains in each pool and to leave a minimum distance between them of 2 m.
- According to the EN13451 standard, a maximum speed of 0.5 m/s through the grille is recommended.
- Install the Warner safety system, to avoid possible harm to bathers, interrupting the suction of the pumps in the event of any variation in pressure.
- We recommend connecting a hydrostatic valve and a drainage pipe to the sump to relieve the pressure that any groundwater may exert on the pool basin.
- We recommend the use of the protection cover during concreting.
