Technical characteristics

General characteristics of the impulse meter.

Impulse emitter counter ideal for controlling the quantity of product that we dose in a volume of water.

what is a pulse counter used for?

It is normally used for product dosing, depending on the volume of water that passes through the pipe and is controlled by the meter.

how does a pulse emitter meter work?

As what we want is to dose, the meter is "programmed" to inject at a certain number of pulses. Once the meter has "programmed" the number of pulses, it sends an electrical signal to the dosing pump to inject the corresponding product.

If, for example, the product is liquid chlorine, we would have to test at how many pulses it would inject enough product for the chlorine level to be optimal.

To install the meter, the following standard must be respected: a straight section of 8 times the nominal diameter of the meter and 6 times at the outlet.

Characteristics of the impulse emitter meter.

  • For cold water up to 30ºC.
  • Maximum voltage 24V - 0,2 A
  • Supplied with 2 metre cable
  • For horizontal mounting
  • Minimum nominal flow rate that must pass through the horizontally installed meter: 450 l/h.
