The corchera is used to limit the lanes in competition in order to prevent the swell produced by any swimmer from affecting the evolutions of the adjacent swimmers .
The position of their waterline and their system of individual rotation by modules on a nylon rope break all types of surface turbulence.
It is also advisable to place cork pads on the side walls to cushion the impact of the waves against them.
Their design and flexibility allows them to be retracted with a winder, once their service is finished.
