what is filtration?

Filtration is one of the most important tasks when cleaning and disinfecting our pool.

Within the filtration system, as an outstanding element, is the filter, since it is in charge of, as the water circulates through its interior, retaining the dirt particles in its filtering bed, either sand or glass, to later return the water to the pool crystal clear and suitable for swimming.

When selecting the ideal filter for our pool, several aspects must be taken into account, such as the size of the pool and the power of the pump that will accompany the filter.

In this way, we will be able to optimize to the maximum the performance of our filtration system and enjoy crystal clear water suitable for swimming

ESPA Silen Plus variable speed pump

ESPA Silen Plus is the pool pump that incorporates the frequency inverter with an important innovation in its operation to adapt the set to the pool application: the variation of speeds in the work cycles.

ESPA evopool Control System detects the position of the selector valve and transmits it to the pump to automatically activate or deactivate the operating cycle according to that position.

Backwash system that, thanks to a specifically developed cycle, increases the efficiency of the process while shortening the cleaning time, drastically reducing the amount of water consumed and achieving an efficient cleaning.

Warranty

The warranty extension is exclusive to the ESPA Pool range of swimming pools and its application is specified in the following conditions:

1. The geographical scope of the warranty extension is limited solely and exclusively to EEC countries.

2. Standard warranty of 3 years from the date of invoice, in accordance with ESPA's general warranty terms.

Warranty extension for the purchase of the product from one of the accredited ESPA evopool® partner distributors such as QUIMIPOOL. The maximum period for product registration is 6 months from the date of purchase invoice.

In any case, the maximum warranty period shall be 5 years from the date of the purchase invoice of the product.

The terms of the warranty extension are the same as for the standard warranty, excluding all components of wear and tear of the pump during normal use, such as:

AFM Active Filter Glass

AFM activated filter media is a direct replacement for sand, doubling the performance of sand filters without the need for additional infrastructure investments. AFM resists biofouling, biocoagulation and transient wormhole channeling of unfiltered water and never needs to be recharged or replaced.

AFM is a highly engineered product manufactured from a specific type of glass, processed to obtain the optimum particle size and shape. It is then exposed to a 3-step activation process to increase its surface area up to 300 times for superior mechanical and electrostatic filtration performance

what is AFM activation?

AFM activation is a patented three-step process where the surface structure of the glass is changed at the molecular level. The glass is an aluminosilicate and the activation process utilizes existing properties of the glass. That is why Dryden Aqua only uses glass from green containers.
