Liquid descaler Astralpool Filnet 5 litres

A liquid product with acidic characteristics which removes incrustations produced by salts in the water and dirt deposited inside sand filters.

Liquid product that does not give off fumes that bother the user. Suitable for cleaning filters made of stainless steel or polyester. Does not generate foam. When dissolving limescale, effervescence is produced. Easy application and quick rinsing under running water.

DOSAGE and METHOD OF USE:

This treatment is only valid for stainless steel filters, whose filter load is flint or sand. With the filter stopped and uncovered, drain all the water from the bottom of the filter through the bottom valve. Close the drain valve and through the mouth of the filter introduce 2 litres of water followed by 2 litres of FILNET product for every 10 kgs. of sand or flint approximately. The level of the added solution must cover the level of sand, exceeding this by 20 to 30 cm. above it. Allow the product to react with the lime and dirt present in the filter. When the effervescence (bubbles) ceases, after a reasonable time (approximately 4 to 8 hours), close the filter cover and, placing the tap in the cleaning position, pass water through the filter to rinse it.

wARNING! The rinse water should be poured directly into the drain. Make sure that the pH of the waste water is equal to that of the inlet water during rinsing. At this point, the filter cleaning is finished. After inspecting the filter, repeat the treatment if caked or cemented sand remains.

Dose 2 Lts. of water followed by 2 Lts. of FILNET product for every 10 Kgs. of sand or flint approximately.
